The latest Installment from the Trail’s 10th Anniversary Print Series is by Pilsen-based artist, Elloo.
Known for her bright-colored compositions, Elloo’s work is inspired by her love for sweets, subconscious memories, and fairytales. Her bright-colored characters are a blend of her imagination and dark dream-like scenes. Behind every piece, she creates: life is sweet.
Currently, Elloo resides in Pilsen and continues to paint from her imagination bringing her characters to real life. Her main focus is to create a body of work that is unique and that allows the viewer to dig into the subconscious, let loose and develop their own interpretations of what they see.
In celebration of the Bloomingdale Trail’s 10th anniversary, we are releasing one poster each month from Chicago artists including Ramiro, Blake Jones, Cujo, Delisha, Jeff Pak, Kate Lewis, Katie Lukes, Liz Flores, and Elloo. The series is curated by All Star Press. Each print has six colors and represents different visions of the Bloomingdale Trail. Each of the 12 prints will have a limited release of 100 and be available for sale on All Star Press’ website. Ten collector’s box sets of all 12 prints are also available.
